About the Role

Reporting to the NSW General Manager, the Technical Office Supervisor will provide day to day operational support, manage client communication, coordinate office based activities and support our technicians to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and safely.

This role will suit someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with clients and on-site technicians and being the link between office operations and site work delivery.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage day to day client interactions, including responding to enquiries, resolving issues and providing timely updates.

  • Provide office-based support and troubleshooting assistance to technicians.

  • Work closely with the Scheduler to support efficient resource allocation and job delivery.

  • Work towards developing estimating capability, including preparing quotes from observation reports and supporting client proposals.

  • Manage permitting schedules and client requirements (including Ventia and USYD requirements).

  • Assist with job creation, task tracking, and maintaining accurate records within Simpro.

  • Support job close-out processes, including updating systems and ensuring required documentation is completed.

  • Build strong relationships with technicians and identify opportunities to improve service delivery and support business growth.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Height Safety Technician – Installations to join our expanding portfolio of projects in the Greater Sydney Region. This role may require some travel and working away from home, with all travel expenses covered. The successful candidates for this role, will be provided with full uniform, safety boots and PPE. This role also provides a clear path for progression into leadership roles and training in other areas of the business. 

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Valid Australian Driver’s Licence

  • White Card (Construction Induction)

  • Height Safety qualification as per Australian Standards – if not training will be provided for the right candidate.

  • Working at Heights certification or willingness to obtain one.

  • Experience in related trades or height safety installation highly advantageous.

  • Ability to travel various sites and work at heights.

  • A safety-first mindset and excellent attention to detail.

  • A can do attitude and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong computer skills to work on reporting software.

RIGCOM is seeking Composite Blade Repair Wind Energy Technicians for multiple current and future projects maintaining Australian and APAC based wind turbines. 

These open opportunities are inclusive of Composite Blade Repair Technicians, and IRATA L3 Supervisors

These are unique openings to become part of a developing industry within a dedicated team that understands the importance of providing a high quality service to a growing client base. 

RIGCOM is seeking to engage additional Rope Access Technicians to work across the broader Sydney region. 

Successful candidates will complete rope access tasks on commercial projects located throughout the Sydney CBD. 

Minimum Level 1 IRATA or ARAA accreditation in rope access is required, together with a working knowledge of rigging and rope access projects.
