Client: Grocon
Location: AAMI Stadium, Melbourne
Project: Custom engineering and installation
Immediately recognisable by its cutting-edge dome roof design, Melbourne’s AAMI Stadium required a customised height safety system that incorporated fall arrest to enable ongoing maintenance and repairs.
Specialising in engineered solutions for challenging height access projects, Hi-Rise (a RIGCOM company) successfully tendered for this landmark project, designing and building a prototype unique from all other tenders received.
Over 18 months, Hi-Rise fabricated and installed walkway, fall arrest and rope access systems. A complicated system of welds was required so that the walkway followed not only the dome contours, but also the oval shape of the stadium. A horizontal lifeline was also installed on either side of the walkway in lieu of a handrail (which would have impacted aesthetics), which is used as the fall arrest system.

Location: Elizabeth Quay, Perth
Project: Custom engineering and installation
With an industry-wide reputation for innovating solutions and delivering on their promise, Hi-Rise (a RIGCOM company) successfully tendered on the design, fabrication and installation of height safety systems for The Towers and Ritz Carlton Hotel project at Elizabeth Quay in Perth.
Hi-Rise engineers custom-designed a complete solution that incorporated tower jockeys, needles, rail-based rope access and fall protection, davits, anchors, rope support rail and ladders.
Equipment and systems were then manufactured at Hi-Rise’s Melbourne factory, before being freighted across to Perth for installation by Hi-Rise technicians over a 6-month period.
