Technical Support approach

Construction Projects

  • The technical team oversees the proper handling of blades during loading, unloading, and transportation to prevent damage such as stress fractures, scratches, or deformations. They provide technical support to ensure installations meet strict alignment, torque, and safety standards.

  • In the event of damage during installation, engineers offer immediate repair solutions to prevent costly delays. Their expertise ensures that repairs are completed without compromising long-term performance or warranty compliance.

  • Engineering approval throughout the construction process ensures that all blade-related activities are thoroughly documented. This documentation is essential for maintaining warranties and tracking the performance and maintenance history of each blade.

  • The technical team also offers guidance on long-term blade maintenance post-construction, helping to establish a maintenance schedule that includes periodic inspections and performance monitoring to ensure long-term reliability.

Service Operations

  • Propose routine inspections and condition monitoring using advanced tools like drones, thermal imaging and NDT to assess blade condition without shutdowns or physical access.

  • Provide immediate repair solutions during installation to avoid delays, ensuring repairs maintain long-term performance and warranty compliance.

  • Recommend repair priorities and maintenance during low wind or planned outages to minimise production losses.

  • Advise on suitable leading-edge protection systems, including tapes, coatings or shells, to reduce erosion and extend blade life.

  • Set up a blade maintenance schedule with periodic inspections and performance monitoring for long-term reliability.

  • In case of unexpected damage from severe weather or lightning, we offer rapid engineering support to minimise downtime and repair costs.
