To reach difficult locations quickly and safely, our operators use rope access techniques so that they can conduct specialised inspections, maintenance and repairs.
To protect people working at height, our fall protection services include risk assessment and design right through to installation, inspection and recertification.
Scaling huge towers 100 metres off the ground, our technicians inspect, maintain and repair wind turbines and their component parts to optimise power generation.
To deliver innovative height safety solutions to suit each specific site, our engineers design bespoke systems which are custom-fabricated in our factory to full regulatory compliance.
Established in 2009, RIGCOM has branches in Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne and has a dedicated workforce of over 60 people. With over 100 years of collective fall protection experience, RIGCOM is certified by manufacturers to not only design and install fall arrest and rope access systems, but also to inspect and maintain these systems in accordance with AS/NZS 1891.4, AS1892 and AS1657, together with relevant lifting and rigging Standards.
RIGCOM employs staff, not contractors, to complete projects. Specially trained in safe work at heights, our team are accredited to install systems as they were designed to be installed.
RIGCOM carries a full complement of insurances including workers compensation, public liability and professional indemnity protection. We are third-party certified to ISO Standards for Quality and Environment, as well Australian Standards for Workplace Health & Safety. An active member of the Working at Heights Association (WAHA), we are an Endorsed Installation Company as we follow or exceed the ‘Industry Code’ for installation of systems. Our IRE Certificate 2700 accreditation enables us to tender and work on government projects and buildings in the ACT. We are also third-party certified by CM3, Avetta and Browse, enabling us to work for many of Australia’s blue-chip companies.
For each and every job, RIGCOM conducts a risk assessment and site-specific Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) enabling clients to see our safe approach to completing their project. We also provide a workmanship warranty, supported by manufacturer product warranties to give clients complete peace-of-mind.
Established in 2009, RIGCOM has become Australia’s largest domestic independent service provider and has a permanent presence across Australia, with 3 branches encompassing 150+ staff.
As part of the GEV Group, RIGCOM also has a strong international support network, ensuring clients receive service excellence across all projects.
